About Unbound

No one holds
the whole picture.

Not one person. Not one profession. Not one discipline. That's not a weakness. It's the reason Unbound exists.

People don't live in one category.

Think about everything that shapes one person in a single year: their stress, their body, their sport or work, their family, their money, their culture, their identity. None of it takes turns. It all shows up together.

Yet most of what we learn comes in separate boxes. Therapists, coaches, physicians, teachers, and leaders train in different rooms, with different language, and rarely compare notes.

We respect training, expertise, and scope of practice. They exist for good reasons. But respecting expertise and staying curious about what's outside it aren't opposites. The most useful ideas often live where disciplines overlap.

What we believe

Better questions lead to better answers.

  • Curiosity over certaintyWe'd rather ask a better question than defend a tidy answer.
  • Honest conversationEvidence-informed, sometimes uncomfortable. Disagreement is possible. Respect is expected.
  • Many lensesClinical knowledge, coaching wisdom, research, culture, and lived experience all belong in the conversation.
  • Ideas that go somewhereLearning should change how we show up for people, not just what we know.

What Unbound is (and isn't)

A place to learn and think out loud.

Unbound is an educational platform. We publish essays and ideas across mind, movement, identity, leadership, and the systems around us, and over time we hope to bring people together to learn in person and online.

It isn't therapy, a wellness feed, or a professional association. Nothing here replaces individual care from a qualified professional.

Where we come from

An initiative by Full Intentions.

Unbound comes from Full Intentions, a Texas-based practice built on one stubborn idea: mind, body, and presence can't be separated.

Working where mental health, movement, and sport meet, we kept running into the same thing. The most helpful insights rarely came from one field alone. Unbound is where we share those conversations.

We don't need to think alike. We need to think together.
